Is ForeverPure alcohol free?

Our witch hazel is completely, 100% alcohol-free. There are only two ingredients in our product: distilled witch hazel, and .15% Benzoic acid (used to preserve freshness). ForeverPure uses a stream distillation process—in essence, it is double distilled. The distillate portion (99.85% Hamamelis Virginiana, the witch hazel plant) is distilled first, and then the .15 Benzoic acid portion is distilled directly into the vapor phase of the distillate. The Benzoic acid acts as the preservative for the distillate.

Use it as a treatment to reduce skin blemishes, and to soothe a variety of skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, sunburns, razor burns, insect bites, bruises and poison ivy, It’s easy to use, just soak a cotton ball or cotton pad and gently apply to face in a sweeping motion.

How does witch hazel work?

Witch hazel contains tannins and antioxidants that aid in prevention of inflammation and neutralize the compounds that can pile up in the body and cause diseases, called free radicals.

Will pure witch hazel irritate my skin?

Witch hazel with added alcohol can be drying and irritating to the skin. Our product is formulated without any irritating ingredients, and is much friendlier to skin as a result. Because it is so gentle, you don’t have to dilute our formula—just use it straight from the bottle. If you prefer to dilute it, you can—just add water, or a skin-friendly carrier oil such as jojoba oil, argan oil, avocado oil, or sweet almond oil.

Does witch hazel work for acne?

Due to its incredible anti-inflammatory properties, witch hazel is great for combating acne and other bacterial skin problems, as well as reducing redness.
